Driveway Crack Sealing & Concrete Joint Caulking

Open cracks, gaps between slabs or old caulk pulling away? We check the concrete and recommend the right treatment.

Cracks in sound concrete

We check the crack edges and look for movement. Where the concrete is sound, flexible sealant can help keep water and debris out.

Control & expansion joints

Seal gaps between concrete sections with a flexible product chosen for the joint, expected movement and foot or vehicle traffic.

Failed or missing caulk

Remove worn or loose caulk and prepare the joint for fresh sealant. Your estimate explains the removal and preparation included.

Seal the Gaps. Care for the Concrete You Have.

Rain, snowmelt and grit can collect in open cracks and joints. Flexible sealant helps close those gaps while allowing for movement.

The goal is a neat, visible seal in concrete that is sound enough to treat. Before you decide, we explain the preparation, finished appearance and care your project needs.

Not sure whether you need caulking or repair?

Caulking does not lift sunken slabs, repair structural damage or fix drainage. We check for these concerns before recommending work.

A Good Seal Starts Below the Surface

Clean edges and the right sealant depth help create a reliable bond.

Concept only. Product-specific joint dimensions and traffic requirements apply. Green highlights the sealant; it does not specify the finished color.

Prepare the opening. Control the depth.

We remove loose material, failed caulk and residue so the sealant can bond to clean, sound concrete on both sides.

  • Where needed, backing controls the depth and keeps sealant from sticking to the bottom of the joint.
  • We choose the product for the gap, slope and outdoor conditions.
  • You know what the finish will look like and when you can use the area again.
What about hairline cracks?

Some cracks need to be opened for sealing; others are best left alone. We explain the options and visible result before changing the surface.

Concrete Crack Caulking & Joint Sealing FAQs

What can be sealed, what to expect and how to get an estimate.

Can you seal cracks in my concrete driveway?

Often, if the crack has sound edges and the concrete is stable. We check the gap, slab condition and drainage first. Hairline cracks and badly damaged concrete may need a different approach.

What does concrete crack caulking cost in the Peoria area?

Cost depends on the size of the gaps, old caulk removal, preparation, materials and access. A short joint that needs extra preparation can take more work than a longer clean one. Request a free on-site estimate. You do not need to measure first.

Is crack caulking the same as concrete surface sealing?

No. Caulking seals cracks and joints. A surface sealer treats the face of the concrete. If your property needs both, we explain the separate work, product choices and installation order. See our driveway and concrete cleaning service.

Should every control joint or expansion joint be filled?

No. We check the joint type, size, condition and expected movement before recommending treatment. Some need flexible sealant and backing; others need a different approach. Joints designed to move need a product that allows that movement.

Will caulking fix a sinking driveway or uneven sidewalk?

No. Caulking does not raise or stabilize concrete. Sinking slabs, structural damage and ongoing drainage problems need a separate assessment before sealing.

Will the sealed crack blend into the concrete?

The sealant line will remain visible. Its color and texture differ from concrete. We explain the available finish and any changes to the opening before work begins.

How soon can I walk or drive on the sealed area?

We give you a specific time for your project. It depends on the product, gap size and weather. Wait until that time even if the sealant feels dry.

Can you clean, caulk and surface-seal the concrete together?

We can assess these services together and list the agreed work in your estimate. Drying, curing and product requirements may mean separate visits. Crack caulking is not automatically included with concrete cleaning.

How long does concrete joint sealant last?

There is no single lifespan for every joint. Preparation, concrete movement, weather and traffic all matter. Check the sealant after seasonal changes and contact us if it pulls away, becomes damaged or develops new gaps.

Can you plan joint sealing for a business or HOA?

Yes. We assess exterior walks, entrances and shared concrete areas. Tell us about tenants, foot traffic and vehicles so we can plan closures and curing. Heavy-duty and specialty areas need a separate assessment.

Is my property in your service area?
